Jeremiah says clearly in this verse

Jerremiah 31:31-33

"Behold the days are coming, says YHVH. When I will make a new covenant with the house of Judah and with the house of Israel. Not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day that I took them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them; says YHVH. But, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says YHVH, I will put my laws in their inward parts, and on their hearts I will write it. I will be their God and they will be my people."

Now see this causes a big problem because although man can break God’s law, the Almighty cannot. He must always follow the commandments given. So if you see in Jeremiah 31:31-33 YHVH clearly says “Even though I was a husband to them” which would mean, by His own law He has then handed her a certificate of divorce and sent her out. Because they broke the covenant. What was the covenant?

The Torah, Yehovah’s law!

Deuteronomy 24:1

"When a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens that she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out from his house, and she leaves his house and goes and becomes another man's wife, and she leaves his house and goes and becomes another man's wife, and if the latter husband turns against her and writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter husband dies who took her to be his wife, then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again to be his wife, since she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before YHVH, and you shall not bring sin on the land which YHVH your Elohim gives you as an inheritance.

Now if YHVH says He will make a new covenant how could He get past this obvious violation. He couldn’t take them back; His law says “former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again to be his wife, since she has been defiled

So this is where the most amazing love story comes in to play. Also signified in the book of Hosea. Get this…. The law clearly states that He can’t take her back, but there is only one way!

1 Corinthians 7:39

“A wife is bound as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Master.”

WOW!

So Yeshua, who the book of John says “All things that were created, were created through Him.” This would mean us as well. He came to earth lived a sinless life in order to be qualified to pay the price for our transgressions. But, also to die in order to free the bride so she could be legally remarried according to the law of the word.

Many assume Yeshua died and that was it, that’s the point. No it’s greater than that. He died to allow His wife to be remarried to Yehovah legally. We know without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. So Messiah has to make an atonement for our past sins, and cleanse us as well as now setting us free from the first broken marriage contract. By making a new covenant, same law simply written on a new surface. No longer on parchment and stone but on the tablets of our hearts. Why? Because, now after you see what price was paid for you… Is it really that much to ask to keep His commandments of love.

Amazing! Blessed be YHVH
