Sacrificing Truth on the Altar of Peace

It has been 2000 years since Yeshua walked the earth and brought the Father's message of salvation to humanity. With so much time in between for the enemy to sow seeds of deception, what are the chances the message hasn't been compromised?

Satan has changed tactics in his battle against the body of Messiah; and why wouldn't he. He can no longer touch the Messiah or the Father. The only choice is to reach out and touch the one thing they love the most, Yehovah's children. How would he change his tactical approach?

Instead of attempting to seek out and crush the children by force. He has let the children curse themselves by doing the one thing that can separate themselves from the Father's protection and bring about curses.

Deuteronomy 28:1-3 "Now it shall be, if you diligently obey Yehovah your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, Yehovah your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. "All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey Yehovah your God. "Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country."

Deuteronomy 28:7 "Yehovah shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways."

Torah says by obedience we receive blessings and protection from our enemies is provided. But, what does it say if we do not obey?

Deuteronomy 28:15 "But it shall come about, if you do not obey Yehovah your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I charge you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: "Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country."

Of course we are saved by mercy and grace but, to obey is how to demonstrate who we worship.

Romans 6:16 "Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?"

Yeshua says He is coming soon to reward those for what they have done. This would obviously involve the process of needing to do something. Not for the purpose of any value in your salvation. Obedience is a debt which is owed by believers in the Most High.

Romans 4:4 "Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a grace, but as what is owed."

At this time your're probably wondering, where am I going with this and what does it have to do with "Sacrificing truth on the altar of peace."

My point is the enemy has deceived people into becoming comfortable and casting obedience aside for promoting the idea Yeshua only wants love and peace. While it is true we are to have peace with men, either friend or foe. He did not sacrifice truth so everyone can get along. In fact Yeshua says:

Matthew 10:34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."

Ephesians 6:17 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart."

The purpose of a sword is not to cause something to come together but to divide. The Word is symbolically called, the sword. The body is to come together under the banner of truth, not equality and compromise.

When we compromise obedience we fall into the same trap Israel did when Balak attempted to curse them.

In Numbers 23 Balak the Moabite attempted to hire Balaam, a prophet of Yehovah; to curse the people of God. Because Israel was being obedient Balaam was told by God, not to curse Israel. Instead Balaam was told to bless Israel. What would bring about the fall of Israel?

Was it because the enemy was able to attack? No! Israel ended up cursing themselves by mingling themselves with the daughters of Moab.

Numbers 25:1-3 "Israel stayed in Shittim; and the people began to play the prostitute with the daughters of Moab: for they called the people to the sacrifices of their gods; and the people ate, and bowed down to their gods. Israel joined himself to Baal Peor: and the anger of Yehovah was kindled against Israel."

How does this apply to us in the last days? A woman in the Scriptures is symbolic of a woman.

Jeremiah 6:2 "I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman."

Revelation 12:1 "A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars."

(Note: Obviously there is no actual woman in space standing on the moon, it's symbolic.)

Who does Satan hate and want to destroy the most?

Revelation 12:17 "So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua."

Notice the dragon only hates those who both have faith but also obey the commandments (Torah) of Yehovah. Those are called the children of the "woman" (Church) Review: "Anti-Messiah & Beasts Tab" for further evidence on this aspect of Scripture.

Churches are considered woman in the Bible. The whore of Babylon (Roman Catholic Church) also has harlot daughters (Apostate Christian Churches) who follow the commands of the beast rather than the commands of God. These woman are being mingled with the true worshippers of God in the last days to muddy the water. Satan has infected the body by causing the church to curse themselves, just like Israel did with the daughters of Moab.

My point is in modern day Christianity, which are the people who claim to follow Yehovah (God) always sacrifice the truth of the word for peace and safety with all; even those in error. What does the Word warn us about concerning peace and safety?

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 "For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Master will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape."

Many assume this is the world being caught "In that day" again notice it's a woman who is caught off guard. Why is she caught suddenly unaware? This means a church will be the one who have destruction come upon them to thier surprise.

What will Yeshua say to a woman (Church) who assume they are His people on "That Day"

Matthew 7:22-23 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?" And then I will declare unto them, "I never knew you; depart you from Me, you who practice lawlessness."

Question, will a Buddhist's prophesy in Yeshua's name? Will a Muslim cast out demons in Yeshua's name? Will a satanist truly be performing miracles in yeshua's name? Of course not! Yeshua is speaking to those who believe they are truly a follower of Messiah, but Yeshua says He doesn't know them because they practice lawlessness!

1 John 3:4 "Everyone who practices sin, practices lawlessness as well. Indeed, sin is lawlessness."

Is ignoring the clear command to obey just for the sake of love and peace? Nothing in the Scriptures declare this to be true. I didn't make this blog to say we should ignore peace. I made it because we should never compromise the truth to comply with peace if the doctrine is false.

John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Peace comes when we live in Messiah and faith in Yehovah. But, if we do not access truth our foundation of peace is a shifting sand destined for destruction.

Yehovah bless!
